

Simon Lamkin - CEO
Simon has been working in travel technology for 28 years and IT for 34 years.
​
Starting as a consultant at WS Atkins, Simon worked for many public sector entities across the UK and was lucky enough to be part of the design team on Prince2 and spent several years achieving his goal of designing large-scale systems and immersing himself into the depths of SSADM and whiteboarding database schemas.
​
Leaving Atkins in 1997, Simon joined a startup, Rapid Travel Solutions, and started developing groundbreaking technology solutions for companies such as Going Places, STA Travel, lastminute.com, Cosmos Holidays, Chan Brother Travel among others.

Following the acquisition of Rapid Travel to Telewest Business, Simon joined easyJet in 2004, where we worked for 12 years. Over the years Simon was integral in transforming the website from the simple flight booking system to a fully integrated booking tool for all ancillary products and creating the core booking flow that this is still being used to this day. Airports were next to see Simon's innovation come to form in driving the Halo project forward and creating a mobile boarding solution for easyJet and creating the platform that would later be used for all remote bag drop facilities across the easyJet estate.

In 2016, Simon took on his next challenge and move to Brussels as CIO of Brussels Airlines - his transformative work there was recognised in the CIO100 list in 2017 and 2018 and in the HotTopics Global 100.
​
In March of 2019, Simon left Brussels and founded LamTech Solutions. During lockdown, Simon joined forces with Coforge to lead a Global Travel Advisory Practice helping clients in Australia, United States, Middle East & Europe.

Simon is an avid runner of mountain trails and marathons and is an RFU accredited Referee,
​
Simon is a member of the FTE Executive Advisory Board.
